Soccer

Welcome to Rec Soccer!

Rec Soccer is our most popular sport, is open to all children in the area and features equal playing for all participants. Registration is done in June to allow time for finalizing documentation, setting up leagues/teams and ordering in uniforms.

The cost to register is $60.00. Scholarships are available; please call the SportAdmin. Participants are not allowed to play in both the Recreational Soccer and Traveling Soccer Programs. Parent involvement is needed in order to make this program successful. Coaching workshops are conducted for all interested head and assistant coaches. All MyTown coaches need to be certified in order to coach. The UM Coaching Certification Course is periodically offered by the Rutgers U. The course is free for all MyTown coaches.

Jeff Donlon is our new Program Director and is looking forward to a great season. Don't forget to study the Volunteer Jobs for whichwe need your help, to pick out something you'd like to do. We collect banking information for the Volunteer Work Bond, but you ill NOT be charged if you fulfill your obligation. Plus, volunteering is really fun!

[Aug 24 2017] MyTown Registration includes US Soccer Membership

Soccer registration is actually a dual registration. We will submit your information to US Soccer and pay your fee. You'll get a year's membership, and ID, their magazine, and insurance.
